The Mosteller Mansion is a beautifully appointed former private residence located in the foothills of Hickory, North Carolina. We have the ability to accommodate any type of special event you can imagine. 

From single room rentals to the entire mansion, the elegance of this timeless local landmark will have you and your guests creating memories in no time.

​The Rooms

The entire main level of the Mosteller Mansion can comfortably accommodate 150 people. Below are descriptions of each room. You may choose to use a single room or the entire main level. 

Maple Room (640 sq. ft.) Formerly the master suite for Mr. & Mrs. Mosteller, this elegant room features an Italian crystal chandelier measuring 6ft wide, expansive windows overlooking the grounds below, and a beautiful expansive ceiling. This room is perfect for set-ups such as weddings, banquets, dancing, etc. for groups of 65 or less.

Mahogany Room (540 sq. ft.) Once the living room, this area is perfect for the indoor/outdoor event with handcrafted carvings surrounding the fireplace, teak floors, mahogany paneled walls, and french doors that access an elegant open balcony overlooking the grounds below. Classroom, banquet, and theater style seating are all conducive to this room for groups of 40 people or less.

Birch Room (477 sq. ft.) Originally the kitchen, this cheerful room features beautiful stained glass windows, hand painted tiles, and access to the brick balcony overlooking the grounds below. Comfortably suited for groups of 25 or less. 

Teak Room (285 sq. ft.) Formerly the dining room, this beautiful area overlooks the front lawn with a view of the magnificent fountain through bay windows. Great for small luncheons and meeting for groups of 20 or less.
